EVA ALORDIAH HAPPY WITH GUINESS

Image
Forget her tom-boy attitude. Fast-rising rapper Eva Alordiah who recently signed an endorsement deal with Guinness Nigeria Plc disclosed how she feels about the platform Guinness has given her. According to her: “The Guinness #MadeOfBlack campaign is one I am very proud to be a part of. It speaks volumes of the same things and ideals I have been trying to pass across for a while now. What we have just talked about with my new single “War Coming” is what Guinness is trying to pass across with this campaign all over Africa which I think is huge. I’m happy Guinness identified with me as real as I am and enough to give me a role as significant as this” Describing the inspiration behind her new single ‘War Coming’ she says she has long identified with the song because it tells the story of her many struggles with life. “ As someone who has gone through many ups and downs to get where I am, having a medium as beautiful as music to express myself and my many views

World scarest stairs

Image
Watch your step as you climb these stairs, whether spiraling up mountains, narrow passageways or sky-scraping attractions. All is right with the world when you're gazing down from the rooftop of Milan's Duomo. That is, until you remember the steep marble stairs that got you there—and are your only way down. Stairways can leave just as much of an impact on your memory as the places they lead you. Some are so eye-catching they look like they belong in an M.C. Escher painting, while other stairs are downright intimidating, especially when they stand between you and a site you flew halfway across the world to experience. In Peru, for instance, travelers need to tackle about 600 feet of slippery granite rocks carved into the mountainside to reach the Moon Temple at Machu Picchu. And at Yosemite National Park, you can't take a selfie at the top of Half Dome without climbing a cable ladder up the rock face for more than 400 feet. All it takes is a misstep for any

6 things to love and hate about the iPhone 6

Image
Let's just start with this: The iPhone 6 is the best smartphone ever made. But it's not perfect. Like any smartphone, there are some things about the iPhone 6 that will drive you batty. First, here's what you'll  love  about the iPhone 6. 2) The camera.  Ironically, the ugliest part of the iPhone 6 helps deliver its most beautiful features. The iPhone 6's camera juts out of the phone's back by about a millimeter, and the obsessive part of me kept wanting to pop it back in. But whatever Apple got out of that millimeter was worth it. Photos are clear just about every time. It performs masterfully in weird lighting situations, such as when the subject is in a shadow but the sun is shining brightly. It takes photos remarkably quickly and -- most importantly for photo-taking dullards like me -- without any fuss. And the front-facing camera also takes surprisingly good photos for the selfie-taking types. The time-lapse and slo-mo video functions seeme

Pius Adesanmi to APC: 27 million naira for forms for Presidential Candidates is madness!

Pius Adesanmi to APC: 27 million naira for forms for Presidential Candidates is madness! Written by Pius Adesanmi: If you are in your thirties and above and anybody is deceiving you that the just and fair Nigeria we are struggling for will happen in your life time, please do not deceive yourself. Struggling for the dreamable, refusing to relinquish the imaginable, hanging on stubbornly to the possible, as some of us are doing 24/7, are all praxes that must be rooted in pragmatism and an acknowledgment of the degree of the rot. The rot that will prevent you and this writer from seeing a reimagined and remade Nigeria is not corruption. It is not Boko Haram. It is none of the unending dysfunctionalities and irrationalities of statehood that have turned the Nigerian tragedy into a nightmare from which Africa struggles to awake. The rot that will prevent the Nigerian renaissance from happening in my life time is not even summed up by the fact that we have now effective

Jason Derulo denies cheating on Jording Sparks

Image
Last week, Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks ended their engagement after three years together and there were rumours that it was because he cheated. Well, Jason denies they split over cheating…  In a statement to the media Jason explains, "Though I think it is a private matter and intended to keep my break-up with Jordin personal, due to bogus and irresponsible lies being reported by insensitive media outlets it became necessary for me to comment. I spent three great years with Jordin and she is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met. But as in all relationships there are ups and downs and at this time we have decided to amicably part. Infidelity, cheating or deceit played no part in our relationship or our break-up, and I hope that people respect our privacy as we move forward with our lives."

Nigerian women" let T.B Joshua be judged by God

Image
Nigerian Women in Clergy, an Association of leading women of God in Nigeria have added their voices to the ongoing crisis plummeting churches and men of God in Nigeria, by calling on God to take control of the several allegations flying around His servants. In a release issued on Monday and jointly signed by their President, Prophetess Nonnie Roberson and the Vice President, Pastor (Barr) RoseMary Archibong, the women also admonished Nigerians to tread the path of caution by allowing God to judge his own case instead of dragging the body of Christ in the mud. The women who have been in the vanguard of peaceful and conservative campaign for a violent free- Nigeria have avowed that now was the time for deep reflection and prayer as against being distracted by events of scandals surrounding men and women of God. WIC specifically referred to the marriage ignominy of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome ; the $9.3m arms deal involving the private jet of CAN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor;

Do you think age can stop ronaldo?

The prolific attacker has been in sublime form this season and the Argentine expects him to continue to dominate for the foreseeable future Former Real Madrid director Jorge Valdano believes Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to shine for the club long into his thirties. The Portugal international will turn 30 in February 2015, yet Valdano has little doubt Ronaldo will continue to be a major force in European football for many more years. "Normally, age starts playing a role in football as you get older. But Ronaldo is exceptional on all counts, including this," Valdano was quoted as saying by Marca . "Cristiano is a tremendous player. He is always looking for perfection and is incredibly ambitious, which only spurs on his team-mates. This is worth a lot, just like all his goals. "I think Ronaldo is the only player in the world who could play in each position in attack and be dominant regardless of where he plays. "The shortest distance between

Madrid tell Rinaldo, manutd move not happening.

The Liga side have refused to discuss the possibility of the 29-year-old returning to Old Trafford next summer, while the player is not willing to give up Champions League football By Duncan Castles Real Madrid have made it clear to Cristiano Ronaldo that they have no intention of allowing him to return to Manchester United this summer. New Old Trafford manager Louis van Gaal publicly stated an interest in signing the 29-year-old last week, but the Champions League holders have ruled out the possibility of Ronaldo leaving the Bernabeu at the end of the season and have refused to discuss a price for the forward. Ronaldo, who has endured an ambivalent relationship with Madrid despite record breaking achievements in his five years there, has regularly expressed his “love” for United, encouraging hope of an Old Trafford return. Extensive efforts were made to put together a deal to re- sign the forward in 2013 before his contract renewal with Madrid and the subject has be
